Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of CAD experience in complex mechanical or electromechanical assemblies, machines, structures, or systems
1+ years of experience creating, manipulating, iterating, and optimizing mechanical designs with complex interactions and constraints
1+ years of experience interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines
Preferred Qualifications: Expert-level Siemens NX capability with at least 4 years of experience in advanced CAD assemblies
Manufacturing and test knowledge across forming, machining, finishing, tooling, assembly, and testing
Knowledge of adhesives, finishes, material properties, and selection criteria for harsh space environments
Experience optimizing design features for part cost and manufacturability
Hands-on experience with manufacturers, machinists, and part producers
Experience developing fabrication drawings for rapid prototyping, machining, forming, and composite manufacturing
Experience with CAD database, BOM, and PLM management using Teamcenter
Experience with change control and management through ERP/MRP systems
Hands-on support in prototyping, assembly, and testing
Excellent CAD database organization and management skills
Ability to organize priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced satellite development environment
