Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a maritime defense customer in Wedel, west of Hamburg. The role involves analyzing technical design requirements, developing mechanical assemblies and systems, maintaining design documentation, supporting design from concept through implementation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing existing designs. Candidates need a mechanical engineering or comparable technical degree, mechanical design and development experience, CAD knowledge, structured project work, and German and English skills.
