ALTEN is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for its Basildon automotive engineering team. The role covers mechanical design, 3D modeling, engineering drawings, product development from concept through production, design reviews, and technical mentoring of less experienced engineers using CATIA V6. It requires at least three years of CATIA V6 experience, automotive mechanical design experience, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent military experience, and strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
