Mechanical Design Engineer at Applied Materials

Applied Materials is hiring a Mechanical Tooling and Fixture Design Engineer in Bangalore to independently diagnose and resolve complex tooling and fixture challenges, design custom mechanical tooling and fixturing, perform engineering analyses, develop layouts and specifications, coordinate testing, and lead cross-functional tooling projects. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 8–12 years of experience, and expertise with CAD, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, and Design for Excellence. It is a full-time regular assignment with 10% travel and relocation eligibility.
