AFCO Performance Group is hiring a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer for its shock design team in Boonville, Indiana, focusing on aftermarket motorcycle products. The role leads the design and development of motorcycle and UTV products, collaborates with engineering, technical, and production teams, researches materials and manufacturing processes, maintains technical documentation, and provides technical support. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least five years of component and mechanical system design experience, a motorcycle license, significant riding experience, fabrication and prototype-making experience, CAD proficiency, and knowledge of CNC machining and material science. The position requires occasional travel to Legend Suspensions’ plant in Sturgis, South Dakota, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
