DISHER is partnering with a leading global manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Michigan to fill a Mechanical Design Engineer position. The role supports product design, equipment development, documentation, and internal engineering initiatives, including reviewing design requirements, preparing concept and detail designs, creating bills of materials and sub-assembly drawings, performing design calculations, and completing project documentation. The position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, two years of machine design experience, two years of Solidworks experience, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, strong communication skills, and limited travel.
