GATE Space is hiring a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the end-to-end mechanical design of chemical propulsion systems, from clean-sheet concepts through flight-ready hardware. The role focuses on complex 3D CAD modeling, manufacturing drawings, component engineering, design trade-offs, FEA and CFD analysis, Python-based numerical modeling, and Design for Manufacturing. The position is in-person in Vienna, Austria, with occasional travel to customers and industry events, and offers a minimum annual gross salary of EUR 55,000.
