Gradient Robotics is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to own a subassembly and its parts from initial design through analysis, fabrication, assembly, testing, and revision. The role requires mechanical design fundamentals, hand calculations, tolerance analysis, fastener and material selection, basic FEA, hands-on machining, and experience building products or prototypes. The engineer will work on-site in San Francisco five days per week, with six days per week during crunch time.
