Moog is hiring an onsite Mechanical Design Engineer in Johnson City, Tennessee, to support design engineering for space and defense hardware. The role involves designing and drafting development hardware, analyzing and modifying heritage designs, preparing stress and performance calculations, supporting integration through machining and 3D-printed fixturing, and presenting design work at program reviews. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering, relevant engineering experience, design and CAD experience, and hands-on mechanical assembly experience. The position offers an annual base salary of $70,000 to $100,000, along with health, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
