Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer designs, analyzes, integrates, and documents aircraft structures, mechanical systems, equipment installations, and modifications for repair, alteration, and certification programs. The role independently develops 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and supporting documentation; performs structural, thermal, vibration, and fatigue analyses; supports certification and airworthiness activities; and coordinates with engineering, certification, production, quality, vendors, and customers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, aircraft design experience, SolidWorks proficiency, FAA or STC familiarity, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work in office and aircraft hangar environments.
