PsiQuantum is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of next-generation photonic hardware systems for optical quantum computing. The R&D role covers mechanical and thermal design, enclosure and packaging, precision assembly, thermal management, analysis and simulation, validation, prototype build, and transfer toward repeatable manufacturing. Candidates should have a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, approximately 1–2 years of post-degree or post-PhD experience, and experience with precision hardware or experimental systems. The position is based in Daresbury, United Kingdom, with a target base salary of £50,000–£56,000 GBP.
