SolarEdge is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for its Data Centers group to design electronic packaging and mechanical solutions for high-performance products from concept through mass production. The role includes PCB mechanical design, component and enclosure design using injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, and extrusion, preparation of production documentation, manufacturing-tool review, product validation and first article inspection support, troubleshooting, and lifecycle manufacturing support. Candidates need a Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree or higher and at least 3 years of hands-on mechanical design experience, including 2–3 years in electronic packaging; SolidWorks, PDM/PLM, ERP, thermal and structural analysis, and data-center or power-electronics experience are advantageous.
