Description
Veolia is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to support water and wastewater treatment projects across the Island of Ireland. The role covers mechanical equipment selection, hydraulic system design, plant layouts, P&IDs, detailed design calculations, construction drawings, procurement specifications, site surveys, feasibility studies, tender pricing, and coordination with clients, project managers, design leads, and consultants. The position requires Level 7/8/9 mechanical engineering education or equivalent, strong mechanical design fundamentals, and experience with pumping systems, pipework networks, and hydraulic systems; water-industry experience is desirable.
