Description
1X is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver lightweight, highly integrated structures for its humanoid robot NEO. The role focuses on packaging actuators, electronics, mechanisms, sensors, wiring, and thermal hardware within constrained mechanical envelopes, using structural analysis, FEA, optimization, physical testing, and high-volume manufacturing design. The engineer will drive designs from concept through production, work with cross-functional and supplier teams, and resolve reliability and manufacturing issues. A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and at least two years of experience designing integrated mechanical systems are required.
