Mechanical Design Engineer, Hands Thermal Systems at 1X

1X is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop active and passive thermal-management systems for NEO’s hands. The role covers thermal architecture, first-principles analysis, component selection, prototyping, instrumentation, testing, simulation correlation, and production release while integrating with mechanical, materials, electrical, controls, manufacturing, and robotics teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least two years of product-development thermal-systems experience, mechanical-design and CAD proficiency, and strong hardware prototyping and testing skills. The compensation range is $175,950 to $253,000 plus equity, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
