Description
Meta is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on sustaining engineering for humanoid robot hardware. The role leads root-cause analysis of mechanical failures, corrective design actions, engineering change orders, failure tracking, and design improvements based on assembly and fabrication feedback. It also involves improving assembly processes, developing tooling and work instructions, supporting configuration management and BOM accuracy, and collaborating with electrical, software, firmware, test, and reliability engineers. The position requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least seven years of mechanical design experience, strong CAD and GD&T skills, hands-on shop-floor experience, and familiarity with manufacturing, tolerance analysis, FEA, and robotic systems.
