Description
SimpleXX GmbH is staffing a temporary Mechanical Design Engineer role for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, with an option for permanent employment. The engineer will develop detailed mechanical designs for systems, components, and subsystems; create 3D models and 2D drawings in CATIA V5; perform tolerance, collision, and kinematic analyses; prepare manufacturing and installation documentation; and collaborate with systems engineering, analysis, manufacturing, and assembly teams. The role requires an aerospace, mechanical engineering, or comparable degree, professional design and installation experience, German and English communication skills, and proficiency with CATIA V5, VPM, and PDM. Benefits include an unlimited employment contract, above-tariff remuneration, a 35-hour workweek, and an option to work from home by agreement.
