Mechanical Design Engineering Intern at Scot Forge

Scot Forge Company is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027 at its corporate facility in Spring Grove, Illinois. The intern will work with facilities engineering and multidisciplinary teams on continuous improvement, machine projects, mechanical design, process and equipment research, SolidWorks modeling, component selection, reverse engineering, and equipment redesign. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, rising junior or higher status at the start of the internship, CAD and blueprint skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
