Mechanical Design Intern at Leidos

Leidos is hiring Mechanical Design Interns for its Huntsville facility during the summer months of May through August, depending on student availability. The intern will support DoD engineering design, develop 3D CAD models, create engineering drawings, participate in prototype assembly and testing, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and present designs. Candidates must be pursuing a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree, be U.S. citizens, maintain a 3.5 GPA, work in-office in the Huntsville area, and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Preferred qualifications include SolidWorks or Creo experience, mechanical systems design, GD&T knowledge, and engineering-drawing experience.
