Description
The Mechanical Engineering Manager will lead a team of 8+ mechanical design engineers and manage priorities, project plans, and resources for mechanical programs. The role covers electro-mechanical, automated JIG, and thermal design for production test setups, early product-design concepts, production-issue resolution, reliability investigations, failure analysis, and risk-assessment-based mitigation. Candidates need a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or higher, at least 10 years of relevant experience including 4 years managing engineering teams in R&D, and expertise in complex automated connection systems, pneumatic and electro-mechanical design, 3D CAD, mechanical simulation, and high-volume manufacturing technologies.
