emergiTEL is hiring a full-time Mechanical Designer in Ottawa, Ontario, with a salary of $85,000 to $95,000 plus benefits. The role develops engineering design concepts, prepares or directs final design layouts and manufacturing documentation, coordinates design checking and approvals, supports project planning and prototyping, and provides technical direction to other designers and draftspersons. Candidates need a three-year Technologist Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or another appropriate technology, 6–8 years of directly related design or drafting experience, CAD proficiency, and completion of required Nuclear Energy Worker training and certification.
