Description
Panelmatic is hiring an experienced Mechanical Designer to create and review mechanical models and bills of materials for power distribution equipment, including metal-clad and metal-enclosed switchgear and panelboards. The role converts electrical drawings into mechanical packages, provides mechanical components to electrical engineering, supports purchasing and fabrication, and collaborates with electrical engineering, project management, and manufacturing. The position requires 1–3 years of sheet metal design experience, knowledge of mechanical design principles, 3D modeling and rendering skills, familiarity with ANSI, ASME, NEC, and UL standards, and strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
