Description
The Mechanical Designer will maintain transformer design bases, complete internal and external transformer layouts, calculate dimensions and allowances, verify and update design programs, and provide technical support and training. The role also assists with design planning, corrective actions, development projects, standard procedures, and mechanical optimization for quote designers. It requires an associate’s degree in mechanical engineering drafting and design or a related field, proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProE, and PTC Creo, and primarily shop-floor work with office time on a large manufacturing campus.
