The Mechanical Designer prepares and maintains 3D models, mechanical drawings, and bills of materials for equipment modernizations and new installations in the metals industry. The role includes design checks, operational and maintenance manual support, installation and commissioning assistance, vendor and supplier technical support, and collaboration with engineering, service workshops, and supply chain teams. It requires a high school diploma, formal CAD design training, CAD proficiency, communication and teamwork skills, and attention to detail; no supervisory responsibilities are assigned.
