US Tech Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Design Technician or Mechanical Designer for a 12-month contract with possible extension. The role develops complete mechanical designs for custom equipment, fixtures, tooling, prototypes, and manufacturing systems; creates SolidWorks models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and documentation; sources and procures components; and supports assembly, fitting, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning. The position is approximately 50% design and 50% hands-on installation and prototyping, requiring at least a high school diploma and five years of proven mechanical design experience.
