Description
HDR is hiring a Mechanical Design Coordinator to coordinate mechanical aspects of commercial or institutional projects, prepare HVAC and plumbing construction documents, develop loads and equipment selections, and supervise Mechanical CAD Technicians. The role also involves construction contract administration, field inspections, conflict resolution, and coordination with architectural and other engineering disciplines. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and strong computer skills are required; EIT certification, healthcare, science, technology, or civic facilities experience, sustainable design or LEED interest, and prior architectural or engineering consulting experience are preferred.
