Description
KFI Engineers is hiring a Mechanical Designer Intern for its Commercial, Institutional & Architects department. The intern will support mechanical design by cleaning up 2D CAD markups, modeling structural, piping, electrical, and equipment elements, converting hand sketches to CAD drawings, collaborating with designers, and providing office and project support. The role requires a two-year drafting or AAS degree or similar study, computer and MS Office proficiency, communication and analytical skills, and willingness to travel; AutoCAD or Revit knowledge and interest in building systems or commercial HVAC are preferred. Compensation is $23.00 per hour, and the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
