Description
Philips is hiring a Mechanical Development Engineer to lead mechanical design and development of high-volume handheld personal health and medical devices. The role covers 3D CAD, tolerance analysis, plastic and metal part design, DFM/DFA, thermal and environmental robustness, verification testing, failure analysis, tooling, trial builds, and mass-production ramp-up, while collaborating with electronics, firmware, industrial design, and quality teams. Candidates should have a mechanical, mechatronics, or manufacturing engineering degree, 3–5 years of relevant experience, electro-mechanical product development expertise, technical leadership, CAD experience, and knowledge of design-of-experiments, requirements flow-down, rapid prototyping, and Six Sigma DFSS.
