The client is hiring a Development Engineer in mechanical engineering and product development to join its Innovation/R&D team in Helsingborg. The role focuses on developing new large-scale industrial equipment for freezing and cooling food products, including new products, platforms, and technical solutions. Responsibilities span cross-functional new-product-development projects from concept through testing, validation, and implementation, with work involving mechanics, airflow, heat transfer, transport solutions, and refrigeration technology. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, a couple of years of product-development or technical-project experience, 3D CAD skills, and the ability to analyze technical problems and develop structured solutions.
