The Mechanical Design Engineer supports the design and development of electronic components, enclosures, chassis, rack hardware, packaging, and electro-mechanical assemblies for data center and cloud application products. The role uses CAD tools, performs structural and thermal analysis, supports prototype builds and environmental testing, documents designs and BOMs, and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and global stakeholders. It requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field and 0–2 years of hands-on mechanical design experience, with a US hiring range of $74,100 to $148,300 per annum.
