Description
Lam Research is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and validate mechanical and electromechanical systems for semiconductor etch and deposition products. The role covers feasibility studies, CAD modeling, component design, structural and thermal analysis, testing, documentation, supplier collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with at least five years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least three years; semiconductor experience and project-management experience are preferred. The role may be performed under an on-site Flex or Virtual Flex hybrid arrangement.
