Description
Lam Research is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and define semiconductor wafer processing equipment from concept through productization. The role covers mechanical and electro-mechanical system design, CAD modeling, analysis, prototyping, testing, feasibility studies, documentation, supplier collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with at least five years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least three years, or a Ph.D. with strong analysis and experimental achievements. The position may follow an on-site Flex hybrid model, working at least three days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location.
