Lam Research is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and validate mechanical and electromechanical systems for pilot and high-volume manufacturing. The role covers CAD modeling, component design, structural and thermal analysis, test planning, FMEA, documentation, supplier collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with at least five years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least three years; semiconductor experience and project-management experience are preferred. The role may follow an on-site flex or virtual flex hybrid arrangement.
