Lam Research is hiring a Mechanical Engineer 3 for its Customer Support Business Group in Bangalore to lead mechanical subsystem development for semiconductor equipment, particularly etch product lines. The role covers new product development, continuous improvement, design and CAD work, engineering analysis, testing, supplier and manufacturing collaboration, product qualification, engineering change management, and customer and field support. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with at least eight years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least four years of relevant experience; NX CAD and stress-analysis experience are preferred.
