Lam is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and define mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for semiconductor etch and deposition products. The role covers concept development, CAD modeling, component design, feasibility studies, testing, validation, analysis, documentation, supplier collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, along with strong CAD, communication, experimental, and design skills. The role may be performed under an on-site Flex or Virtual Flex hybrid arrangement.
