Lam Research is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and validate mechanical and electromechanical systems for wet-processing equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. The role covers feasibility studies, CAD modeling, component design, structural and thermal analysis, testing, documentation, supplier collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with at least eight years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least six years of experience, along with strong CAD, experimental, fluidic, and thermal-analysis skills. The position may be performed in an on-site flex or virtual flex hybrid arrangement.
