Lam Research is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and validate mechanical and electromechanical systems for semiconductor etch and deposition products. The role covers concept development, CAD modeling, component design, structural and thermal analysis, feasibility studies, testing, documentation, supplier collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with 12+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 10+ years of experience, along with experimental design, thermal-system testing, and strong communication skills. The position may be performed in an on-site flex or virtual flex hybrid arrangement.
