Description
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning and designing marine systems, machinery, tools, engines, and other mechanically functioning equipment; overseeing design, schedule compliance, flow analysis, engineering calculations, schematics, vendor data, regulatory compliance, owner and regulatory comment resolution, and technical guidance to production and assigned personnel. The role requires 10+ years of relevant industry experience or at least 2 years at an Associate Engineering level, experience in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, and production processes, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
