Description
Charge Robotics is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design, build, test, and iterate mechanical systems for its solar-assembly robots, investigate hardware issues, coordinate with other engineers, and work on large electromechanical mechanisms. The role requires industry-standard CAD experience, including Onshape, fabrication knowledge, strong written communication, and the ability to work 4–5 days per week from the San Leandro headquarters with 10–15% travel to solar construction sites. A four-year degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred, and experience with industrial robot arms, end effectors, and automation systems is also beneficial.
