Description
The Mechanical Engineer will lead the HVAC design team for Cape Design Engineering, manage multiple HVAC and plumbing design projects through concept through construction close-out, serve as the primary client contact, coordinate budgets and schedules, prepare project documents and specifications, perform analyses, and mentor junior staff. The role also assists with department and office management, proposal efforts, standards development, and quality assurance. Applicants must hold a Florida Professional Engineer license, have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and have at least four years of mechanical engineering experience designing for K-12, higher education, or industrial facilities.
