Description
ABB is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to create product, connection, customer, and technical drawings; perform detailed mechanical design of generator components; maintain bills of materials; and support engineering changes, production, purchasing, sourcing, and service. The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or a related field, at least three years of motor and generator design experience, knowledge of NX/TC, AutoCAD, and Office programs, and fluent English. The position reports to the R&D Team Lead and is associated with ABB's High Power Division, which develops large AC motors and generators.
