Description
This is a fixed-term contract position for a Mechanical Engineer specializing in commercial gas systems. The role involves ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of gas-fired plants and distribution systems by performing planned and reactive maintenance according to SFG20 and Gas Safe requirements. Responsibilities include completing PPMs, maintaining boiler and heater systems, conducting gas tightness tests, diagnosing and repairing faults, and recording maintenance activities within CAFM. The engineer will also focus on providing excellent customer service, promoting teamwork, and adapting communication styles effectively.
