AWS is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and continuously improve resilient, cost-effective mechanical systems for its global data center infrastructure. The role covers liquid cooling equipment, piping and pipe support analysis, integrated data center product design, root-cause analysis, technical trade-offs, supplier coordination, and product design support. It is based in Seattle, Washington or Herndon, Virginia, requires at least four years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission-critical facilities, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and offers up to 25% domestic and international travel. The base salary is $116,800 to $160,000 annually in each location, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
