Amazon LEO is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, qualify, and support the development of space hardware and avionics for its Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation. The role involves translating trade studies into physical designs, creating CAD assemblies and drawings, coordinating with manufacturing and assembly, supporting development and qualification test campaigns, and optimizing for high-volume production. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, at least five years of CAD and aerospace hardware experience, and expertise in space-system margins, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing process development.
