Amazon is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design, build, and launch robotic hardware for advanced robotics systems. The role focuses on mechanical components and assemblies for robotic hands, forearms, and actuators; CAD design and documentation; prototyping and integration of multi-DOF mechanisms; tolerance, material, and structural analysis; collaboration with electrical, firmware, and controls teams; and hands-on testing and design iteration. Candidates need a mechanical engineering degree, at least three years of relevant experience, SolidWorks or equivalent CAD skills, prototyping experience, and hands-on hardware assembly and testing experience.
