Description
The Factory Automation Engineer will design, cost, quote, and manage factory automation projects, with an initial focus on machine-frame and guarding designs using RobotUnits aluminum extrusion products. The role develops concepts and proof-of-concept demonstrations, prepares 2D and 3D designs, maintains drawings and BOMs, supports production from prototyping through testing and inspection, and provides technical support and training to colleagues and customers. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience are preferred, along with strong SolidWorks and mechanical design capabilities.
