Applied Materials is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Tainan, Taiwan, to troubleshoot mechanical problems, develop and modify layouts, schematics, and specifications, design custom tooling and fixturing, coordinate procurement and assembly, and lead engineering projects. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 4–7 years of experience, and expertise in CAD, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and design for excellence. It is a full-time regular assignment with 20% travel and no relocation eligibility.
