Areté is hiring a full-time, exempt, non-supervisory Mechanical Engineer for its Falls Church, Virginia office. The role covers mechanical system specifications, component design, calculations, simulations, manufacturing drawings, assembly and test documentation, system assembly and testing, and laboratory and field test support, with 10–20% travel. Candidates need a mechanical, marine, or equivalent engineering degree, CAD and FEA experience, hardware implementation skills, and the ability to obtain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship and a criminal background and DOT drug-screen clearance are required.
