Description
Assystem is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support the development and delivery of work packages for nuclear, marine, and oil and gas clients around its Sunderland office. The role leads project tasks, produces engineering solutions, communicates technical progress, mentors junior engineers, and manages time and quality. It requires a 2:1 BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, senior engineering experience in a regulated sector, mechanical and structural engineering knowledge, CAD and mathematical skills, familiarity with manufacturing and the engineering design cycle, and UK security-clearance eligibility. The position offers hybrid work with 1–2 remote days per week.
