Description
Assystem is hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the technical capability of a Client Design Authority. The role involves producing and reviewing infrastructure design packages, defining reliability and performance requirements, assessing maintenance and work-control procedures, evaluating asset condition and ageing mechanisms, and ensuring safety, security, compliance, and contractual deliverables. The position requires an HNC or equivalent engineering qualification, broad mechanical engineering experience, knowledge of relevant systems, and familiarity with British and international design standards. It is mainly remote with 1–2 days per month at the client site in Helensburgh and requires a sole UK national with SC clearance.
